As an American who still gets goose bumps when the National Anthem is played I am so encouraged by the Tea Party movement. Recently I have been troubled by the attempts of the MSM to try to tie the TP to the Republican party, and by attempts of RINO’s to associate with the movement. Reading the Tea Party Declaration was very satisfying. It states exactly how I feel and precisely the principles we need to return to. When you look at the history of the imperialism and atrocities of Spain, Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia, Italy and China and compare them to our history there is no comparison. No country has freed more people than the US in the History of the world. I am tired of these countries being critical of us and dictating how we should behave.
My father flew B-24 bombers during WWII and one day we were talking about claims by other countries that the US is an imperialist nation. He explained to me that at the end or WWII the US had troops and equipment all over the world. Our factories were producing prodigious amounts of weapons. If we were truly an imperialist nation we could have taken over the entire world and nobody could have stopped us. Instead we came home and use our tax payer’s money to help rebuild Europe. What other Country would have done such a thing? In my mind that says all that is needs to be said about the USA. God Bless America!
