Here’s one more reason NOT to live in California.

The San Fransisco Chronical reports that Governor Schwarzenegger today signed the three-time vetoed California Assembly Bill 962 (AB962) which will require all people buying ammunition in California to be be thumbprinted and dealers to keep records of all sales.

People buying ammunition in California will soon have to be thumbprinted and dealers will have to keep records of sales, under legislation that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law.

After vetoing similar bills three times since 2004, Schwarzenegger signed AB962 by Assemblyman Kevin de León, D-Los Angeles, on Sunday, saying he now believes it will promote public safety.

The measure is California’s first statewide regulation of ammunition sales.

Please contact Governor Schwarzenegger TODAY and respectfully voice your disapproval with his signing of AB962. The Governor can be reached by phone at 916-445-2841 or via fax at 916-558-3160. You can Governor Schwarzenegger here.
