Can someone explain to me why the government can ask what race I am (census question) along with other home occupants when it is against the law to ask that question if I apply for a job or apply for a loan?

Just completed my census form. Answered 2 on the first question and then put
MIRANDA RIGHTS! on all other questions. If they have a problem at the Census Bureau….. I will say just see my hero Judge Napolitano.
