The Obama administration is refusing to quickly release government records on its “cash-for-clunkers” program.
The data would confirm or deny,,, White House claims of the program’s success.
The President is pushing the Senate for an additional $2 billion.
President Barack Obama has pledged greater transparency for his administration.
The Transportation Department said it will provide the data as soon as possible. No time line was given.
